Theo (Crosspost)

Theo is a 2 year old, 55lb Pit Mix who we recently adopted from a shelter. Theo is very sweet and will excitedly greet people. He loves to give kisses and will flop on his back to invite you to give belly rubs. Theo walks nicely with a leash attached to the front of his harness and is housebroken. He has lots of energy, loves car rides and is a great buddy for hikes and other active adventures. Theo knows 'sit' and 'lay down' and is showing progress in learning 'stay/come' and 'go potty'. He is working through some separation anxiety, but has made good progress in that area along with crate training. We are looking to rehome Theo due to his inability to get along with our previously adopted cat despite the shelter advising us he was 'good with cats'. Theo has demonstrated the ability to get along with other dogs and would likely do well with older children. He has had a difficult past and deserves a forever home with someone who is loving and patient with him.
