Hello, my name is Rita. I’m thought to be a 2 year-old, 11 pound Chihuahua mix from the South and just arrived in PA. My former owner had too many dogs and wasn’t able to properly care for me or keep me safe. I am sweet and loving, but it’s taking me time to trust new people and animals. I need a forever person who will shower me with love and kindness. You will melt when you look into my big brown eyes. Patience and cuddles are necessary to help me feel secure. I’m quiet and prefer the indoors to the outdoors. I want to be around people and hang out by your side. I love all body rubs and enjoy treats. Because I’m still settling in and need more observation, housetraining and leash walks are to be confirmed by foster mom. I am spayed and microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines.
