I've found my furever family!

Hi! My name is Mary, I’m an 8 month old, 28 pound retriever mix that was rescued on Christmas with my brother Joseph. Despite my hard start to life, I’m actually the sweetest, cuddliest dog you’ve ever met that just wants a family to love. Even when I’m let outside to a fenced yard to relieve myself, I rush right back when I’m done because I want to spend as much time as possible with my family. Because of that, I would be happiest with a family that doesn’t have to crate me for long periods of time over multiple days—although I am very good in the crate and never whine or bark. I listen really well and I’m good on the leash, but I do need a little bit of help with being house trained since I’m still a puppy. I love adults, kids, and dogs, but when my environment gets overwhelming, I get a little nervous and retreat to my family for some love. A previous foster home said I get along with cats.
