I'm ready for my new family!

Abba is a puppy mill survivor. She came to HAL terrified of people and suffering with bilateral luxating patella which are probably a result of being dragged around against her will. While we are slowly helping Abba learn she can trust people we are also preparing her for surgerical repair of her patellas.

This sweet little lady is a 1-year-old mini-poodle. Even though her previous life was unpleasant, once she’s in your arms, Abba loves to be cuddled.  Post-surgery Abba will have about 8 weeks of care & PT before she’ll be ready for adoption.

We would greatly appreciate any donations to help pay for Abba’s medical bills including the surgery and aftercare.  Our rescue is 100% volunteer, so every single dollar donated goes to help dogs in need like Abba.
