I'm ready for my new family!

Meet Sweet Elsie! She is a 4 year old 42 lb, Terrier mix, who has the biggest heart of any dog her foster parents have ever met. Elsie loves her people deeply, giving great big hugs and kisses, and snuggling / nuzzling up with zeal. Sweet Elsie is not only a love bug, she's also incredibly resilient. She was a momma dog and dropped off at a South Carolina Shelter. While there, she was diagnosed with heartworm and moved to North Carolina for treatment. All that is behind her now, and she is ready to meet her furever family and wiggle her way into their hearts. Elsie loves walks though she does pull when excited. She's looking forward to learning all the commands, though she doesn't know them yet, but is very food motivated so will be easily trainable. Elsie is dog and kid friendly. She has not been tested with cats. She is so appreciative of the love and safety of her foster home and lets her foster parents know with lots of affection and by being a good listener. Elsie is a quiet girl, rarely barks, and comfortable on leash, making her a good candidate for an apartment. Interested in adding sweet Elsie to your family? Apply today!
