I'm ready for my new family!

I’m so glad that HAL helped me hitch a ride on the rescue van, watching the puppy mill disappear in the rearview mirror. My “mill mom” days are over and I don’t ever want to look back!

After years of producing puppies to be sold to families from the mill, it is finally my turn to find a furever family of my own. I’m a 5 year old Pomeranian gal and my best years are yet to come! I am about 20 lbs. I have a gorgeous fluffy white coat … and I guess that now is a good time to mention that my new family MUST LOVE FUR!!  I am looking for a furever home where I will be groomed, loved and cared for. In return, I will be your loving little shadow around the house ... I will crawl right into your lap to give kisses or will jump up at your legs to give hugs! When you look deep into my sweet little eyes, you will see that I so badly want to be loved. Are you the hero I’ve been waiting for who can help me begin my '2nd act'? I promise to repay you with endless snuggles, unconditional love, and the deepest gratitude!

Since moving into her foster home from the puppy mill, Alicia has been doing amazing with potty training.  She is learning how to walk on the harness / leash and LOVES to sniff and stroll around the neighborhood and local parks, and especially loves to explore around the backyard. She is starting to discover toys and is learning how to play like a pup! She has also learned to love her crate for bedtime and sleeps quietly through the night. She's a very, very good girl ... and when she looks so deeply into your eyes you can see just how badly she wants to love and be loved.

It is recommended that Alicia goes to a cat-free home. She would love to be your one-and-only furbaby but may also be able to live with another calm, mellow dog(s). She does fine with children who can respect space / boundaries and are old enough to be very gentle with a small dog.

Apply today! Alicia is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines / preventatives. Her adoption fee is $650 because she is a benefactor for a pup requiring extra medical care.
