Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?
Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Home At Last Dog Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.
Adoption Fees
Dog
- $400 - Dogs 2 years and older
- $450 - Dogs and Puppies under 2 years
- $650 - Benefactor Adoption Fee - The additional fee collected helps to fund expensive medical cases. If a dog has a benefactor adoption fee then it is notated in their bio.
Fees for Dogs with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.
Adoption Inclusions
Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Home At Last Dog Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the dogs. At adoption, Home At Last Dog Rescue dogs will be current on their core vaccines and will have the following:
- Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr.) if age appropriate
- Distemper (DHLPP or DHLPP-C)
- Bordetella (if the dog was transported from out of state)
- Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
- Microchipped
- Adopt
