Young Male Pit Bull Terrier

*PTS for aggression 6/7* Dakota is one happy guy – and you will know this because he actually smiles! He is a pit bull terrier mix that was saved from ACCT Philly. He’s about one and a half years old and approximately 40 lbs. This guy is tall and lean with a build like a small Boxer. Dakota quickly shows his affectionate side and he knows basic commands, like sit, shake and stay. He’s house trained, crate trained, good on a leash and good with kids. He told his foster mom that he would like to live somewhere with a yard or with someone that promises to take him for daily walks. Dakota would be happiest in a household with other dog/s. He can be a little unsure when first meeting new men, but after a few minutes he generously gives out kisses. Dakota is an all-around sweet and happy guy!

Ever think about fostering a dog in need? Home At Last Dog Rescue needs fosters! We need volunteers to foster dogs in their homes until permanent homes are found. HAL provides vet care, food, toys. crates, etc. for the dog you are caring for. You provide love, and compassion. If you can’t foster but can help watch a dog overnight here and there, help with transports or events, HAL needs volunteers too!
