Adult Female Pit Bull Terrier

Pending adoption 5/1. Meet Grunt. Yes, that is her lovely shelter name, but her foster momma calls her Sara. She is a sweet shy 6- to 8-year-old terrier girl who hasn't had the best start in life. We suspect she may have been a victim of dog fighting as her teeth are filed and she has many scars on her upper body. Thankfully, this loving girl hasn't allowed her past to get in the way of her personality. Grunt a.k.a Sara seeks affection and loves to hang out with her pittie brothers and small dog sisters. She is quiet and accepts treats gently. She is working hard to please her foster mom by using the crate for housebreaking. She is good with cats and loves car rides! She is easily leashed and learning how to trust others while going for walks. Toys are new to her, but she enjoys sleeping with her chew toy and squeaky shark toy. She deserves to be part of a caring family and can't wait to find her furever her home! ❤
