Adult Female Chihuahua

Meet Autumn (also known as Amber), a 7 -9 yr old, long haired chihuahua mix. Autumn and her best friend, Josie, a senior poodle, were an hour or so from being put to sleep at ACCT (Phila) when HAL rescued them. Josie has been adopted, but Autumn’s time to find her forever home was delayed because she needed surgery to remove mammary tumors. Autumn is now looking for a quiet home with a loving family who will have the patience to show her love on her terms. She is a very sweet little girl (she weighs about 10 lbs) but is not comfortable being held. A home without children under the age of 18 would be the best fit for this gal. She is well behaved, house trained (although occasionally will go on pee pads), spayed and current on vaccinations. If you'd like to welcome Autumn into your family please apply today!

Ever think about fostering a dog in need? Home At Last Dog Rescue needs fosters! We need volunteers to foster dogs in their homes until permanent homes are found. HAL provides vet care, food, toys. crates, etc. for the dog you are caring for. You provide love, and compassion. If you can’t foster but can help watch a dog overnight here and there, help with transports or events, HAL needs volunteers too!
