Senior Female Chihuahua

Hi! We're Brittany (6-8 yrs) and Kimmie (10 yrs), bonded Chihuahuas who absolutely love lying on the back of the sofa next to our human. We were rescued along with our sibling - Ashleigh - after we were taken to the Philly shelter when our human mommy’s medical condition got too bad to take care of us. We are bonded and would like to be adopted together. Home at Last will waive one adoption fee if you can make room for both of us!

Check out how sweet we are in our video on Petfinder at: We're both house trained and leave cats alone when we're told. We both had a lot of teeth pulled so it's easiest for us to eat canned food. We prefer a yard and do our business quickly and run back inside when we're done (with a lot of excitement and big grins.) We love cuddling with our people and get along with other dogs.

At night we sleep in a crate, but wouldn't mind sharing your bed. Because we’ve had a tough life, we would be better off in a family with older children or no children and would be a perfect fit for a retiree looking for laid back, sweet doggies who just want to lie around. We'd love a human who is around most of the day! Do you think you can make your home our home? We promise to give you lots of kisses!

Ever think about fostering a dog in need? Home At Last Dog Rescue needs fosters! We need volunteers to foster dogs in their homes until permanent homes are found. HAL provides vet care, food, toys. crates, etc. for the dog you are caring for. You provide love, and compassion. If you can’t foster but can help watch a dog overnight here and there, help with transports or events, HAL needs volunteers too! Just email for more information on how you can make a difference in a homeless pets life!
