Young Male Retriever

3/11 - Broken leg in two places - medical hold Are you looking for a loyal friend who will make you laugh, help you exercise, and keep you company on the couch? Then meet Luke, a handsome 15-month old, 60-pound, Lab mix. Luke is a joyful guy with a lapping tongue and a long, strong tail that will actually hit him in the face as he wags it back and forth! He loves to bounce around a yard and play enthusiastically with other big dogs, and then he’ll share the couch with you to relax as your devoted buddy. Luke listens well and walks/hikes nicely on a leash, but he will thrive with an experienced dog owner and trainer who demonstrates authority with him. Check out how well he is doing with training in his video on Petfinder at: He is housebroken, crate-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date with all of his shots, so now he just needs a loving, forever home. Will it be with you?

Ever think about fostering a dog in need? Home At Last Dog Rescue needs fosters! We need volunteers to foster dogs in their homes until permanent homes are found. HAL provides vet care, food, toys. crates, etc. for the dog you are caring for. You provide love, and compassion. If you can’t foster but can help watch a dog overnight here and there, help with transports or events, HAL needs volunteers too! Just email for more information on how you can make a difference in a homeless pets life!
