Adult Female Labrador Retriever

Meet Jean! She is a 3- to 4-year-old Lab/pit mix weighing in around 45 pounds. Jean didn’t have a great start in life and wound up at a shelter, a scary place that had her hiding in her kennel most of the time. She is crate trained and housebroken. Her whole face lights up when she sees other dogs but she doesn’t have a lot of experience around people and needs patience and love to come out of her shell and when she does, it’s snuggle time! Check out her video on Petfinder at: She is a very quiet dog and didn’t know what love was, but is learning and needs a kind person or family to teach her. Could that be you?

Ever think about fostering a dog in need? Home At Last Dog Rescue needs fosters! We need volunteers to foster dogs in their homes until permanent homes are found. HAL provides vet care, food, toys. crates, etc. for the dog you are caring for. You provide love, and compassion. If you can’t foster but can help watch a dog overnight here and there, help with transports or events, HAL needs volunteers too! Just email for more information on how you can make a difference in a homeless pets life!
