Adult Female Hound

Foster Fail*** 2.17**** Hey everyone!!!! My name is Mika, I have a long story so please take a second to read!

I'm a hound mix said to be between two and three years old, but my foster mommy tells me I have an old “sweet soul.” I spent the early years of my life as a stray in South Carolina running around a local grocery store living off scraps. One day, I got caught and taken to a local shelter where some nice people found a rescue for me in PA!

I packed my bags (which was mainly all snacks and a few stuffed animals) and arrived in PA. I went to the vet with my foster mom to get checked out when they found I had patellar luxation in both of my back legs. I needed a really expensive surgery to save my legs, and my friends at HAL made sure that I got it.

I've been recovering for 2 months and now I am ready to get adopted!! I LOVE dogs, kids, hanging on the couch, snoring, sleeping in bed with you, being a bum, and a daily stroll outside. I am super smart and even know a few tricks. I do well walking on the leash and seeing the sights. All 70 lbs of me would love keeping your spot on the sofa warm while you're at work since there's no need to crate me and as I am housebroken. Oh did I mention I love belly rubs, scratches under my chin and have yet to meet a food I don't like (except veggies). Are you looking for a family friendly dog that just wants to hang around her humans and watch movies? I am your girl!!! I will need to take medication to help with my knees but don't worry it is very affordable!! I hope that you will consider adopting me!

I have some extra pictures and videos for you to see! Check out my video and pictures on Petfinder at: https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/36611650. Check out my other video at: http://bit.ly/2f9n0f7.
